A couple of Bristol TVR and Amoreautos members are heading to Europe on a drive we’ve enjoyed a few times.
It includes Stelvio, the famous Andermatt triangle, the beautiful Lake Garda and a few other roads we’ve stumbled across over the years.
This is not a full-blown organised tour although all accommodation, Tunnel and meals are included in the package. You are more than welcome to join our mini group (Limited spaces), drive at your own pace or detour at your leisure or whatever you prefer as we all end at the same destination each evening where we can share our stories and adventures of the day.
We will be plotting out drives each day for the best roads and one or two scenic stops. If you have a Tomtom or Garmin with the latest maps, you will be able to load our routes we will follow. There is also a guidebook provided by Scenic car tours if you wish to follow that. We also encourage you to bring your radios as we have a fair amount of banter car to car.
We stay for a few nights in Lake Garda for those who want to lay around a pool or hop on the little ferries to all the gorgeous shopping markets around Garda.
Some of us go off for a drive, other shoot down to visit the Wonky donkey factory for the day but it’s up to you. This is a flexible tour for you to chose what you want to do.
Yes, this is a drive, yes, this will be exhilarating, yes, if you’ve never done it, you should.
Summary of costs are below. Prices can go up or down a little depending on rates at the time.
We are booking the key elements through a tour business as this way we have protection against any further Covid or Euro restrictions.

Eurotunnel, 4* Hotels with private parking, breakfast and dinner included.
£1299.00 per person based on 2 persons sharing in a car/bedroom throughout the tour (£2598.00 per couple)
£1798.00 per person in a car and bedroom on their own throughout (£800.00 reduction from the total ‘2 person’ price)
£275.00 supplement on top of the single price, for having a double room and 2 persons for the 3 nights in Garda (£2073.00 in total for 1 person for the full tour joint by a second person for Garda only – £1798.00 + £275.00) (some of the partners don’t want to do the full drive so fly down and join us for a few nights)
