Will Workman Memorial TVR Run Sun 17th Oct 8am

Guys, a friend of mine recently lost his 21-year-old son tragically. William Workman was one of those delightful chaps any parent would be proud of. We cannot imagine the pain a parent must go through under these circumstances, however, amongst this shone through a true loving spirit, in the form of his 11 best friends, who mobilised to support the parents. They ran charity football and events, all in William’s name. The events raised thousands for the epilepsy charity.

As you can imagine, his parents have been overwhelmed with the 11 young men’s generosity, compassion and outpouring of support.

This leads us to this run out. The family would like to treat these lads to a few hours fun and excitement as a thank you.

So, here’s the plan, I need 11 more cars to meet with us at the Hideout lounge 7.45 am on Sunday the 17^th October. We will each take one lad with us for a 1-hour drive in convoy, then return for a full breakfast at 9am. If we have more cars than needed, then fabulous, and perhaps some of the parents may get a run.

Its will be a short blast locally and then chance for them all to have their pictures taken with the cars.
