About this Car

This is a project that has come a long way towards total restoration. The car was off the road for over 12 years before it passed an MOT in April this year 2020.

Thousands has been spent with, other than paint, just a lot of snagging jobs to finish.

The car runs and drives and has a current MOT.

Work Completed to date:

Complete full body off restoration, outriggers, body mounts & side rails replaced, shotblasted, hot zinc coated & finished in 2 part epoxy U-POL Raptor for the best protection.
Refurbished brake calipers all round.
New Lambas. New gaz golds. Seats retrimmed. Original ‘OZ split rims’, refurbed with all new stainless studs & powdercoated.
Crack in original veneer dashboard, replaced with brushed satin black stainless dashboard from SC-Power
Air intakes upgrades with ACT silicone air intake and  K&N air filter
Side manifolds and y-piece, ceramic coated at camcoat in satin black cam3 finish.
Heat shielding replaced with central-tvr heatshield kit.
ECU chip upgraded to Mark Adams Tornado Chip.
Rubber coolant hoses upgraded to ACT silicone, Rubber ancillaries upgraded to ACT silicone kit, Rubber plenum to afm elbow & heater hoses upgraded to ACT silicone
Fuel hoses replaced for uprated variant.
Water pipes upgraded to stainless steel.
RT racing complete new bolt kit.
Brand new hood and targa.
Oil cap, Oil breather cap, flame trap upgraded to polished aluminum replacements.
Rocker covers , plenum and engine completely resprayed
Refreshed engine including, MC1 camshaft kit from V8 developments, heads skimmed,
Ignition coil, distributor cap, rotor arm, all replaced.
HT leads, plug extenders, replaced with Accel ceramic HT leads.
New engine mounts.
New number plates.
Front Lower Wishbones replaced with Uprated SC-power wishbones.
Front upper wishbones repaced with mk2 replacements.
Cooling system replaced with evans waterless coolant.
Copper brake piping replaced with kunifer piping, stainless unions.

ACT Throttle pot upgrade.
New side indicators.
Tachometer, rpm gauge replaced for new oe units.
Original defective tvr alarm & immobilizer replaced with sigma cat 1.

To finish the car here is our list of jobs:

NSR Brake Light Inop.

No Reverse lights.

NS Door finisher missing.

Clutch cover cap missing.

Roof rails and rubbers missing.

OS Body mount bolt missing.

Various wiring and pipes insecure.

Fit correct lock nuts on Differential.

Fuel lines at rear routed incorrectly.

Fuel pump mounting bracket missing bold (needs thread welding on).

Brake pipes leaking need tightening.

Tyres 20 and 14 years old.

Speedo not working.

Fuel and oil pressure clocks not working.

Speedo not working.

Pin hole NS manifold (needs dab weld).

Sump gasket leaking.

Paint – good 6 foot car, but has micro blisters.

So, its not a huge list and we will do this work over the winter unless someone wants to buy under option 1.
