About this Car

This beautiful car has just had a full respray and was retrimmed in 2015.  She runs and drives wonderfully (fabulous overdrive on 3rd and 4th) with everything working. The mileage showing is at 25k with mot history showing only 4k miles since last engine work . The history is partial so mileage cannot be verified prior to 2006.

Some of the work carried out in last few years:
• Radiator removed & back flushed
• Thermostat & water pump removed –engine block back flushed
• New water pump fitted and hoses
• New thermostat, temperature sensor & rad cap fitted
• Electrical wiring fully checked, Repair undertaken to bring all circuits into a working and reliable condition
• New wiper arms and blades fitted
• Spark plugs, engine oil & filter, air filter & fan belt replaced
• Brake master cylinder replaced
• Brake & clutch fluid changed
• Front brake callipers refurbished including new pistons
• Electric fuel pump fitted
• Rear gaiters replaced on rear drive shafts
• Front & rear adjustable elements on steering/ suspension stripped eased
• Full geometry checks of vehicle undertaken and adjusted to manufactures tolerances
• Chassis cleaned & wire brushed. One repair made to front o/s, Chassis primed & painted
• Chassis re-wax oiled
• Gearbox oil changed
• Diff oil changed
• Interior completely removed
• New heater/ventilation motor fitted
• Heater/ventilation distribution pipes replaced
• Deeper rear storage tray made & fitted
• Fuel tank removed – cleaned and painted
• New fuel sender fitted
• Whole interior sound proofed
• Whole interior new carpets fitted
• Seat belt fasteners replaced
• Drivers door hinges refurbished
• New door mirrors fitted
• New radio & speakers fitted
• Gear stick removed and new bushes fitted
• Gearbox side plate removed due to oil leak—seals & gasket changed
• All 4 tyres replaced

• Battery cables replaced
• Tie rod ends changed
• Brake pads renewed
• All brake nipples replaced
• Electronic ignition fitted
• New coil & ballast resistor changed fitted
• Starter motor refurbished
• Full stainless steel exhaust fitted —S/Steel manifolds already fitted
• Two cooling fans fitted in board to radiator with override switch
• Otter switch replaced.
• Timing gears replaced — aluminium & crank cast iron
• Sump removed and cleaned out
• New sump gasket fitted.
• New front crank seal fitted
• Engine oil & filter changed

Condition

Mechanically this car is lovely. The paint work following respray looks stunning.  The interior is generally good except for a small vinyl tear on drivers seat and the stitching on passenger seat separating.
