This wonderful car has a travelled history seeing use in the UK and Spain during its lifetime.
With 9 previous keepers in its 48 year life and 26000 miles (unverified) showing on the clock this car has clearly been restored and cherished for many years. The latest paint is excellent bar one mark on P/S door that’s due to be corrected shortly.
Tvr made a total of 743 Vixens of which 165 Series 3 were made between 1970 – 1972, the 3 series considered to be the best of them all. Current internet databases (using DVLA – registered Vixens) show only 108 cars on the road.
Built with a lighter Chassis to improve handling this later model car benefits from the Ford Kent Crossflow 1700 fast road spec engine.
The body, chassis and car overall is extremely good for a 48 year old car. The car has original wheels, alloy bumpers and AC dash gauges and the characteristic Aeroflow grilles for the wing vents, taken from the C-pillar of the Ford Zodiac Mk4. There are an original set of seats also available (need retrim).
